This week with Wicked Grounds (1/9 – 1/19)
February 25, 2025Hello kinksters –
A lot is going on in the world right now. It feels more important to me than ever that we keep connecting with our values, our resources, and our community.
This week, our hearts especially go out to our friends and community in southern California battling the LA area fires.
If you’re in the San Francisco Bay Area, I’d like to encourage you to come out this weekend and connect with yourLeather & LGBTQ Cultural District – the world’s first city-recognized cultural district formed to recognize and support kink and leather community. The district will be hosting a town hall on Saturday, January 11 from 2-5 pm at the Folsom Street Community Center, and the entire community is welcomed and encouraged to attend. You do not need to be a current member of the district. Details & more information here.
If you’re not in the SF Bay Area, I’d love to encourage you to find out more about the National Coalition for Sexual Freedom. These folks do critical work to protect the rights of kinksters, polyamorous folks, and other sexual adventurers. I suspect their work will be more important in the coming years than ever before.
And of course we have a lot going on in the next week or so. Let’s take a look, shall we?
Upcoming multi-week workshops to plan for!
If you’d like to go deeply into the intersection of magick and power, join us in February and early March for Pentacles of Power: A Sex-Magick Intensive for Kinky People.
