This workshop will encourage you to really think about your desires and reflect on how to adapt your Dominant style to get the most out of your BDSM experiences.
Negotiating is a critical skill for building BDSM scenes, dynamics and relationships that work. But negotiating doesn’t necessarily come naturally — especially for those of us who are just entering the kink scene.
Using easy to understand philosophical frameworks like virtue and care ethics, we’ll explore how the erotic dance of dominance and submission can rewrite morality itself.

This class will briefly touch on what consent is and how to secure it, then go beyond and examine how to best react when a consent incident touches us as a stranger, a friend, or an event host.
We’ll look at some recommended responses, including incident reporting and consequences such as apologies, punishments, and restorative justice.
Deal with harm in a way that supports the person harmed, foster accountability for the person who did harm, & manage the response for the community at large transforming the conditions that allowed harm. This helps create more resilient communities.
How does neurodivergence affect consent mistakes, incidents, and violations? How does it affect boundaries, grappling with hurt and harm (and discerning between the two), and accountability at the personal, interpersonal, and community levels?
We’ll discuss skills such as scene negotiation, vulnerability/authenticity, discovering and communicating your desires and aftercare needs, and flirting with your sadists in a non-pushy way.
