30 Days of Pride Day 2: Support Coffees!

February 19, 2025 By Miriam Green

Saturday, June 2nd: Take pride in your kinky, queer cafe! Spread the word about our Support Coffee program! Everyone should have access to safe spaces, but cost is too often a barrier — especially in SOMA and in the LGBTQ community overall. That’s why we started our Support Coffee Program (check out the full history here). Customers with a little extra to share can pay it forward at the register (or even online) to buy a coffee “for the wall”. Those little hearts you see over the sink when you’re at the register? Each one represents a cup of coffee, tea or lemonade we can give out to someone else, just for the asking. Each one makes a huge difference for someone who wants to attend a munch during a financially tight week or a displaced SOMA resident looking for some refreshment. Not everyone knows about the program, so here’s how you come in! When you hear a friend say, “I’d love to go, but things are tight this week,” let them know. Bay Area Queer Exchange or Trans and Queer Free Pile? Let them know. Spreading the word about your munch or event? Let your attendees know. Let’s take pride in a space that makes more inclusivity for kinksters, LGBTQ folks, and all of the other folks that make SF so great. #pride2018 #wickedpride #30daysofpride #coffeeandkink #pridelatte

This June, we’d like to invite you to take pride in your kink cafe with 30 Days of Pride! If you like what we’re doing, help us spread the word and be a better resource for LGBTQ folks and kinksters everywhere!  Today’s suggestion: are you “out” on Twitter? Use your #ff today to let people know about @wickedgrounds — or follow for yourself!  #pride2018 #wickedpride #30daysofpride #coffeeandkink #pridelatte

end-of-month things!

February 19, 2025 By Miriam Green

As we approach another Patreon billing cycle, please make sure that your payment information is current!  Each month a number of patrons’ payments are declined, which is normal, especially for a page with as many patrons as we have (yay! so many awesome people want to support us!) but once declined, y’all miss out on rewards, posts, etc., and we lose your incredibly valuable support.  Thanks again for being here, we’re gearing up for event season here in SF and are excited for the new opportunities that Patreon will be giving us! -Jane & Co. @ Wicked Grounds
