You’ll survive & thrive!). \nThis class is aimed at people in all roles & dynamics\, not just our switchy friends & partners. \nPRESENTER: \nLady V (she/her) is a spiritually & socioculturally driven sex-positive educator\, community organizer & Professional Switchinatrix. \nUsing her background in film\, Lady V is able to use the power of improv to switch on a dime. Prior\, she served as the Program Manager for one of the few agencies in the world specializing in navigating sexuality & gender for people navigating intellectual/developmental disabilities. \nLady V has taught for conferences & sex positive venues across the US. She serves as an Advocacy Board Member for Sex Positive World & proudly helps facilitate their education as the Remote Education Coordinator. Lady V has also served the community by facilitating public health events. \nShe is an out\, proud\, & fierce-as-fire transwoman with a passion for empowering others. While hailing from Detroit\, Michigan\, she has settled in Salem\, Oregon\, with her Mistress in a 24/7 TPE where she serves as the majordomo for her leather family\, the Atomic Army. DESCRIPTION:How do you handle the protocols in your hierarchical relationship when you’re with non-kinky people – relatives\, vanilla friends\, children\, co-workers\, and the like? In this class we’ll discuss the implications of exercising your protocols in vanilla space\, prioritizing which protocols you most wish to keep and in which situations\, and different strategies around handling those protocols. \nPRESENTERS: \nMarilyn and Rio\, Mistress and collared slave\, served as Northwest Master and slave 2023. Marilyn is a Master\, a sadist who likes to play very hard\, and a control freak with an intense blood lust. Rio is a butch leatherdyke\, a knife fetishist\, a hopeless romantic\, and is obsessed with service. \nTheir home club is the Exiles\, where they spent many years as officers. They are also active in MAsT San Francisco\, where Marilyn is the Director. Rio is currently the Secretary of the San Francisco Bay Area Leather Alliance\, and served as Ms. San Francisco Sober Leather in 2016. Together and separately they have taught\, judged\, MC’d\, tallied\, and sung at many events across the country\, including Northwest Leather Celebration\, Southeast Leatherfest\, Southwest Master/slave Contest\, International Ms. Leather/Ms. Bootblack\, Leather Leadership Conference\, the Folsom Street Fair\, and more.
