In this class, Miriam Green will draw on what we know about the neuropsychology of BDSM to help us better understand drop, and build strategies for resilience when we face it.
Deal with harm in a way that supports the person harmed, foster accountability for the person who did harm, & manage the response for the community at large transforming the conditions that allowed harm. This helps create more resilient communities.
This class will briefly touch on what consent is and how to secure it, then go beyond and examine how to best react when a consent incident touches us as a stranger, a friend, or an event host.
We’ll look at some recommended responses, including incident reporting and consequences such as apologies, punishments, and restorative justice.
