Join us for a Kink 201 session exploring negotiating how to think about and create long-term D/s dynamics and kinky relationships that work!
In this class, Miriam Green will draw on what we know about the neuropsychology of BDSM to help us better understand drop, and build strategies for resilience when we face it.
In this class, we’ll discuss the ways in which kink itself can be validating and cozy for acespec people, and explore specifics about how we can interact with hypnokink from any position or role without compromising boundaries or comfort levels.
Even those of us who are profoundly dedicated to the ideas of consent sometimes resist the culture and practices of consent. In this workshop, you will learn how you can be a badass or a Dominant/Top and still be religious about consent.
We'll discuss skills such as scene negotiation, vulnerability/authenticity, discovering and communicating your desires and aftercare needs, and flirting with your sadists in a non-pushy way.
How does neurodivergence affect consent mistakes, incidents, and violations? How does it affect boundaries, grappling with hurt and harm (and discerning between the two), and accountability at the personal, interpersonal, and community levels?
Deal with harm in a way that supports the person harmed, foster accountability for the person who did harm, & manage the response for the community at large transforming the conditions that allowed harm. This helps create more resilient communities.
This class will briefly touch on what consent is and how to secure it, then go beyond and examine how to best react when a consent incident touches us as a stranger, a friend, or an event host.
We’ll look at some recommended responses, including incident reporting and consequences such as apologies, punishments, and restorative justice.
