This Week with Wicked Grounds (5/8 – 5/14)

Hello kinksters –

What world do we get to live in?

Most often: the one we create.

Over the past two weeks, I’ve been thrilled to see many examples of kinksters creating strategies for resilience, resistance, and maybe even thriving in these times. Several groups came together to host a Unity party in San Francisco, and there are several new outings, adventures, and retreats planned for the area. Later this month, San Francisco’s ​Leather & LGBTQ Cultural District​ has planned a workshop for ​Advocacy, Action, and Safety​ and even my teeny, tiny coastal town is abuzz with plans for this year’s Pride celebrations.

I’m also delighted at the creativity and innovation bubbling up in just the first week of this year’s Kink Class Incubator, and can’t wait to see what this crop of instructors brings to the world.

This week, we have some great opportunities to learn the fundamentals of D/s and maybe even make new friends. Read on for details!
