In this workshop, we look at the overlap between autism and kink. This workshop isn’t just for autistic folk, it can help anyone who feels like an outsider or would like to create a more inclusive environment.
This class will briefly touch on what consent is and how to secure it, then go beyond and examine how to best react when a consent incident touches us as a stranger, a friend, or an event host.
We’ll look at some recommended responses, including incident reporting and consequences such as apologies, punishments, and restorative justice.
Let’s talk about the basics of energy play in a real and down to earth way to learn how to navigate with, in, and around the flow. We will also discuss some ethical considerations of energy play and exchange. You will leave class with a few new connection exercises to deepen an experience with a partner(s) and the knowledge of how to weave your energies together.
