Given the upcoming last big holiday weekend of the summer, you’re getting this week’s newsletter slightly early!
There are a few things we’re excited about this week. First is the launch of Rebecca Blanton’s new book Kinky & Complicated: Navigating BDSM with Mental Illness or Neurodivergence coming up on September 8th. Rebecca (aka Auntie Vice) has taught for us for several years, including some excellent classes about BDSM and mental health based on her years of research. She was kind enough to send me an early paperback version of the book, since I told her I plan to return to this one frequently and need a version that I can mark up with all my notes! You can pre-order your copy here! And keep an eye out for some new classes with her this fall.
Our next six-week intensive launches next week, and I’ve already posted the first week of homework a bit early for those who are excited to dive in. If you’d still like to join us, we’ll have regular registration until the class starts Tuesday 9/8, and then we’ll have late registration for a slightly higher price for the first week of the course. In this workshop we look at the overlap of autism and kink, and to a lesser degree other forms of neurodivergence and kink. This workshop isn’t just for autistic folk, it can help anyone who feels like an outsider or would like to create a more inclusive environment.
