Holding space for others is a joy and a gift like no other. \nLearn the ins & outs of event organizing! \n\nIdentify your target demographic and how to serve them best\nManage personal and community conflict pragmatically\nPromotion\, advertising\, & cross-collaboration\nTicketing systems & event pricing\nOutlining expectations between you\, the venue\, volunteers\, and performers\nPlan for accessibility and how to handle inaccessible spaces\nEstablish your boundaries around personal life and power imbalances\nIdentifying IF organizing is your cup of tea or how you can better support organizers\nHarm reduction & mitigation\nBurnout and how to recover & find grace in making mistakes\n\nWhether you’re an experienced munch organizer or a fresh face wanting to throw their first kinky house party\, this workshop will be helpful for YOU! \nWhy get into organizing?!\nTHOUSANDS OF REASONS\, including creating long-lasting communal bonds\, mutual aid\, or wanting to have a fun\, sexy party (your way)! Organizing is a fun way to bring people together\, create fun events\, and occasionally pay your bills doing it! \nWhy learn from Lady V?!\nLady V has been directly coordinating or been involved with almost 200+ days of in-person & remote event & workshop programming from the sunny shores of the Pacific Ocean to the humid heat of the South China Sea. \nLady V has organized workshops\, demos\, intensives\, play parties\, munches\, community health events\, skill shares\, and more! \nHer experience as an organizer and educator makes this class easy to engage with and utilize the tips & tools given to you! \nA Recording will be sent via email 24 – 48 hours after the workshop & will be available for 7 days. \nPRESENTER: \nLady V (she/her) is a spiritually & socioculturally driven sex-positive educator\, community organizer & Professional Switchinatrix. \nUsing her background in film\, Lady V is able to use the power of improv to switch on a dime.Prior\, she served as the Program Manager for one of the few agencies in the world specializing in navigating sexuality & gender for people navigating intellectual/developmental disabilities. \nLady V has taught for conferences & sex positive venues across the US. She serves as an Advocacy Board Member for Sex Positive World & proudly helps facilitate their education as the Remote Education Coordinator. Lady V has also served the community by facilitating public health events. \nShe is an out\, proud\, & fierce-as-fire transwoman with a passion for empowering others. While hailing from Detroit\, Michigan\, she has settled in Salem\, Oregon\, with her Mistress in a 24/7 TPE where she serves as the majordomo for her leather family\, the Atomic Army. Lady V considers herself both a lifestyle & professional switch.
