DESCRIPTION:Attachments are emotional bonds formed in childhood\, and whether we form secure or insecure attachments is dependent upon how our needs for attention\, love\, and growth are met. The patterns set in place carry forward to how we form adult attachments\, including friendships\, romantic partners\, and the bonds of power exchange. \nThis presentation will examine the basics of Attachment Theory\, how attachment styles are expressed\, and how they are manifested in different BDSM identities and roles. The class will also touch on how to encourage secure attachment in ourselves and in our relationships with others. \nPRESENTER: \nSir Panda (he/him) is a polyamorous Dominant and kink educator living in the Kansas City metro area. He started his educational journey in 2011\, teaching consent and BDSM basics at the Center for Sex Positive Culture (CSPC) in Seattle\, WA. Sir Panda has served in a variety of roles in the kink community over the last 15 years\, including discussion group facilitator\, event planner and host\, communications director\, house top\, and Program Lead for KinkFest. \nSir Panda has presented classes and workshops for the CSPC\, Wicked Grounds\, Pragmatically Kinking\, the Kink Center\, the Venusian Society\, and Leather Reign.
