In the right hands\, they can do both at once. \nIn this class\, we will explore verbal humiliation through the lens of improv comedy\, and you’ll learn how to use “yes and” to make them say “yes\, mistress” or “yes\, sir.” Using techniques like commitment\, quick decision-making\, and bold choices\, you will learn how to build connections\, stay in control\, and maintain chemistry. \nThroughout the class\, we will build skills in tone\, pacing\, eye contact\, and volume\, and discuss how to use these tools to create a playful cruelty that feels collaborative and consensual rather than just mean. \nBy the end of the class\, you will be able to move without hesitation\, use your voice without apology\, and create a very special tension that will hum and vibrate throughout your entire dynamic or scene. \nOnce you find your voice\, you won’t want to hold it back. \nPRESENTER: \nDolly Diatima is a Persian American professional dominatrix\, writer\, fetish model\, and lifestyle kinkster. As a nonbinary and neurodivergent sex worker on the ace spectrum\, they offer a unique perspective into kink and sexuality which they work to bring into their sessions as a domme as well as into their writings and classes. They are currently one semester away from a BA in Philosophy and can often be found discussing the intersection of kink and philosophical concepts on their blog. DESCRIPTION:The purpose of this workshop is that everyone leaves with a better sense of where they are on the risk spectrum and how they can use harm and pleasure management to minimize unwanted risks. \nWe will have a hands-on approach and go through reflection questions as well as exercises\, while holding space so that everyone can share their own experiences and thoughts. \nWe will also offer extra material so everyone can repeat the process at their own pace and as many times as they need! \nFirst part: \n\nIntroduction to harm\, risk\, and pleasure from different points of view\nIntroduction to the history of harm reduction and why it applies to kink\nPolitics of harm and risk\nRisk aversion\, risk seeking\, risk acceptance\nSome questions to start thinking about how we relate to harm\, risk\, pleasure\, and loss\nSelf-consent: why it matters and how we can practice accountability\n\nSecond part: \n\nIntroduction to risk profiles: What are those? Why do I want one?\nHow to make your own risk profile\nQuestions to explore how risk feels in our body/mind\nExercises to map our own profile\nGroup discussion and sharing\n\nINSTRUCTORS: \nMel (he/him) is an Argentinian trans masc aligned gender fluid sex and BDSM educator. He is the co-founder of Kinky Vibe Argentina\, a collective based in Buenos Aires that hosts events\, support groups and workshops for the kinky\, queer and neurodivergent community both online and offline. Lifestyle kinkster\, he has been doing kink for the last ten years\, identifies as sub-leaning switch\, and is a sex worker (ProDomme). \nOne of his greatest passions is thinking about power\, risk\, and self-consent in the context of kink\, and spending most of his time accompanying people on their kinky journey. He has been teaching about kink\, pleasure\, risk\, and depathologization for the last nine years. \nMemi (he/him) is an Argentinian trans masc person\, who is a lifestyle kinkster\, a history teacher\, and an early-career researcher in the history of sexualities. He has been doing kink for almost a decade in a wide variety of kinks\, relationships\, dynamics\, and sides of the slash.
