DESCRIPTION:We can’t promise love\, but we can help you with a fun night full of meeting people\, a lot of people\, fast. \nOur purpose is to encourage you to meet new people. \n– Find people with similar kinks as yours. \n– Find people with whom to explore new kinks. \n– Find new friends. \n– Find new people to play with. \n  \nPeople will be separated by appetite\, either top or bottom. (Switches can pick a side or wait to see what side is needed more.) And then you will get two minutes with each person and a chance to connect afterward. \nThe evening is about meeting people who complement your kinky appetite\, not about identity or gender. The people you meet will be worth meeting\, even if they aren’t your appetite. \nOnce the event has started\, we can not add new people\, so please be on time. \n  \nPRESENTER: \nRyan “Psychokitty” has been helping people connect with similar events for over a decade\, from the old Shibaricon in Chicago to Dark Odyssey: Surrender\, or hosting events at the SF Citadel\, Catalyst\, and of course Wicked Grounds. \n  \nACCESS: \nIn SF\, this event will be held at Trellis. Please note that doors will close quickly so we recommend arriving 15 minutes before the event starts for check-in. \nWe cannot admit anyone after about 7:10 (once the event has begun)\, so please plan accordingly! DESCRIPTION:The guideline of “Your Kink Is Not My Kink” (YKINMK) has become foundational in the sex positive and BDSM communities as the standard for acceptance of diversity – and as the gold standard to avoid shaming. But what happens when we struggle with another’s kink\, to the point of becoming judgmental\, disturbed\, or even triggered? \nThis class will review types of play (including edge play) that might “squick” or trigger us\, and why. We’ll examine how to overcome our own biases\, discuss what to report and what not to report\, and how to reach the tolerance of Your Kink Is OK. \nPRESENTER: \nSir-Panda (he/him) is a polyamorous Dominant living in the Kansas City metro area. He has been a kink educator since he began teaching consent and BDSM basics at Seattle’s Center for Sex Positive Culture in 2011. He has taught for Fetish Con\, Leather Reign\, the Kink Center\, Pragmatic Kink\, Wicked Grounds\, and the Venusian Society. He especially focuses on the mental and relationship aspects of kink and polyamory\, drawing on over 30 years of experience and a passion for research. \nSir Panda is a Certified Professional Life Coach\, an Accredited Relationship Coach\, a Mental Health First Aider\, a consent advocate\, and a member of the Social Psychology Network.
