What happens after things go wrong\, and a consent incident shakes up a person\, a couple\, or a community? \nThis class will briefly touch on what consent is and how to secure it – then go beyond and examine how to best react when a consent incident touches us. Let’s consider how we handle it as a stranger\, a friend\, or an event host. We’ll look at some recommended responses including caring for the harmed\, incident reporting\, and consequences such as apologies\, punishments\, and restorative justice. \nPRESENTER: \nSir-Panda (he/him) is a polyamorous Dominant living in the Kansas City metro area. He has been a kink educator since he began teaching consent and BDSM basics at Seattle’s Center for Sex Positive Culture (CSPC) in 2011.
