DESCRIPTION:How does neurodivergence affect consent – including mistakes\, incidents\, and violations? How does it affect boundaries\, grappling with hurt and harm (and discerning between the two)\, and accountability at the personal\, interpersonal\, and community levels? \nIn this participatory two part workshop\, we will dive into these questions with case studies and real-life examples. We’ll look through a trauma- and disability justice-informed lens\, and talk about common patterns\, subjective interpretations\, ascriptions\, and communication-based on neurotypes\, socialization\, and lived experience. We will make space for embodied activities and create plenty of room for community members to share their experiences. \nPRESENTER: \nAdam is a community organizer\, mediator\, conflict transformation facilitator\, kink and consent educator\, and ongoing learner. Their passions lie at the intersections of disability justice\, neurodivergence accessibility\, trauma-informed care\, consent\, embodied somatics\, harm reduction\, and systems transformation. They desire to help people relate in safer\, skillful ways that are trauma-\, power-\, and risk-informed. Adam has been an educator with several groups including The Consent Academy\, advocating for consent from the individual level to the systemic. They do consent and accountability work in many contexts and community spaces\, from organizing spaces to the sex+ world. Adam sees this work as intersectional\, directly connected to the better\, more liberatory world they want to live in. \nTICKETING: \n$60 suggested. SUMMARY:ONLINE: Trickster at the Crossroads: Myth and Mischief in Kinky Roleplay with Lila Hades\, The Unconventional Plutonian
DESCRIPTION:What might your desires reveal when you invite the sacred troublemaker into your kink practice? \nAcross mythology\, Tricksters steal from the powerful\, cross forbidden boundaries\, change shape\, speak dangerous truths\, and lure others into bargains whose meanings are never quite what they seem. \nThey disrupt the ordinary world—and create openings for transformation\, freedom\, pleasure\, and possibility. \nIn this two-hour interactive workshop\, we will explore how Trickster archetypes can inspire kink\, erotic storytelling\, and roleplay. \nThrough mythology\, guided reflection\, and collaborative scene-building\, participants will discover their own styles of erotic mischief and experiment with tools such as temptation\, riddles\, wagers\, shapeshifting\, secret identities\, playful rule-breaking\, power reversals\, and negotiated surprise. \nWe will also examine the ethics of Trickster play. How can we create the feeling of unpredictability without compromising informed consent? What is the difference between a fictional betrayal and a real one? How do we negotiate games in which characters lie\, rules appear to change\, or power is not where it first seems to be? Participants will learn how to create a clear container for improvisation so that the story may be chaotic while the players remain cared for. \nCome prepared to meet the thief\, tempter\, fool\, shapeshifter\, riddler\, or beautiful saboteur within you. You will leave with a personalized Trickster archetype\, a framework for negotiating consensual mischief\, and the beginnings of an original roleplay or kink scene. \nNo prior kink\, mythology\, or roleplaying experience is required. \nPRESENTER: \nLila Hades (she/they) is a queer\, neurodivergent word witch & author; trauma-informed conflict resolution practitioner; BDSM & kink educator; and astrologer who founded The Unconventional Plutonian (also known as UP). \nUP’s mission is to empower and inspire courageous personal & communal transformation through a radical and queer lens.
