DESCRIPTION:Have you seen people pulling out rope for a bondage scene\, and it looks fun but overwhelming? Whether you’re new to rope or need a refresher\, this class is perfect for you. \nWe will talk about how to choose the best rope for particular bondage styles\, including samples of rope types to feel and explore the different advantages they offer. \nWe will work on some fundamental ties that can get you started\, like single and double column ties. And most importantly\, the good places on the body to put rope. Once we have the basics down we will cover classic ties including the ladder tie\, box tie\, and Futomomo. \nPlease come prepared to practice! You are welcome to come alone or with a partner. If you come solo\, be prepared to practice with a fellow attendee. We will have some loaner rope available\, but please bring your own rope and safety shears if you have them. \nPRESENTER: \nRyan PsychoKitty is a performance artist and improv actor\, starting at the Annoyance Theater of Improv of Chicago in the late 90s and has performed in New York\, San Francisco\, London\, Kobe\, and Osaka\, with performance images in Skin Two. DESCRIPTION:We talk a lot about what consent is and how to reach good consent in play and with partners. Yet consent injuries happen all the time. What happens after things go wrong\, and a consent incident shakes up a person\, a couple\, or a community? \nThis class will briefly touch on what consent is and how to secure it\, then go beyond and examine how to best react when a consent incident touches us as a stranger\, a friend\, or an event host. \nWe’ll look at some recommended responses\, including incident reporting and consequences such as apologies\, punishments\, and restorative justice. \nPRESENTER: \nSir Panda (He/Him) is a Dominant and sadist who lives his busy polyamorous and kinky life in the Seattle area with his wife and his collared life partner. He has been a kink educator since he originated the Passport Program at the Center for Sex Positive Culture (CSPC) in 2011\, teaching consent and BDSM basics to new members.
