DESCRIPTION:The purpose of this workshop is that everyone leaves with a better sense of where they are on the risk spectrum and how they can use harm and pleasure management to minimize unwanted risks. \nWe will have a hands-on approach and go through reflection questions as well as exercises\, while holding space so that everyone can share their own experiences and thoughts. \nWe will also offer extra material so everyone can repeat the process at their own pace and as many times as they need! \nFirst part: \n\nIntroduction to harm\, risk\, and pleasure from different points of view\nIntroduction to the history of harm reduction and why it applies to kink\nPolitics of harm and risk\nRisk aversion\, risk seeking\, risk acceptance\nSome questions to start thinking about how we relate to harm\, risk\, pleasure\, and loss\nSelf-consent: why it matters and how we can practice accountability\n\nSecond part: \n\nIntroduction to risk profiles: What are those? Why do I want one?\nHow to make your own risk profile\nQuestions to explore how risk feels in our body/mind\nExercises to map our own profile\nGroup discussion and sharing\n\nINSTRUCTORS: \nMel (he/him) is an Argentinian trans masc aligned gender fluid sex and BDSM educator. He is the co-founder of Kinky Vibe Argentina\, a collective based in Buenos Aires that hosts events\, support groups and workshops for the kinky\, queer and neurodivergent community both online and offline. Lifestyle kinkster\, he has been doing kink for the last ten years\, identifies as sub-leaning switch\, and is a sex worker (ProDomme). \nOne of his greatest passions is thinking about power\, risk\, and self-consent in the context of kink\, and spending most of his time accompanying people on their kinky journey.
