SUMMARY:SF: Getting Started with Rope Intensive with PsychoKitty
DESCRIPTION:Have you seen people pulling out rope for a bondage scene\, and it looks fun but overwhelming? Whether you’re new to rope or need a refresher\, this class is perfect for you. \nWe will talk about how to choose the best rope for particular bondage styles\, including samples of rope types to feel and explore the different advantages they offer. \nWe will work on some fundamental ties that can get you started\, like single and double column ties. And most importantly\, the good places on the body to put rope. Once we have the basics down we will cover classic ties including the ladder tie\, box tie\, and Futomomo. \nPlease come prepared to practice! You are welcome to come alone or with a partner. If you come solo\, be prepared to practice with a fellow attendee. We will have some loaner rope available\, but please bring your own rope and safety shears if you have them. \nPRESENTER: \nRyan PsychoKitty is a performance artist and improv actor\, starting at the Annoyance Theater of Improv of Chicago in the late 90s and has performed in New York\, San Francisco\, London\, Kobe\, and Osaka\, with performance images in Skin Two. DESCRIPTION:​Whether you’re new to exploring BDSM play or are an experienced player looking to go deeper\, we invite you to join us for a special daylong BDSM intensive in downtown Los Angeles! Miriam Green will be leveraging a dozen years of kink education and coaching to dive deeply into refining your personal kink roadmap and how to get the most out of your kink journey. \n​Throughout the day\, we will cover: \n\n\n​Discovering and honoring what turns you on \n\n\n​Disentangling from others’ erotic projections \n\n\n​Safely exploring kink and other edgy forms of eroticism \n\n\n​Troubleshooting common challenges in communication \n\n\n​Managing ecstasy\, frenzy\, and drop \n\n\n​Trying new skills in the bedroom and beyond \n\n\n​Finding your voice and speaking freely \n\n\n​Sharing the desires you’re afraid to voice \n\n\n​This work will be completely accessible to brand new players\, while deeply valuable for experienced kinksters. \n​The day’s format  \n​We will meet from 10am – 5pm in a private downtown workshop space. The day’s work will be a mixture of lecture style\, discussion\, and a couple of breakout sessions. You will go home with optional homework! \n​Please bring a notebook\, pens\, snacks\, and a prepared sack lunch.
