Meet lots of new potential friends, play partners and maybe more — fast!
This class will briefly touch on what consent is and how to secure it, then go beyond and examine how to best react when a consent incident touches us as a stranger, a friend, or an event host.
We’ll look at some recommended responses, including incident reporting and consequences such as apologies, punishments, and restorative justice.
Deal with harm in a way that supports the person harmed, foster accountability for the person who did harm, & manage the response for the community at large transforming the conditions that allowed harm. This helps create more resilient communities.
New to house topping or an experienced house topper? All are welcome in this class on the many ways to offer safe, fun and ethical house topping & sampler party experiences in our communities.
