DESCRIPTION:This workshop offers a grounded\, embodied\, and celebratory approach to sexuality through and beyond menopause. We’ll explore desire shifts\, identity transitions\, and the physiological and emotional changes that may affect intimacy. Expect frank talk about genitourinary syndrome of menopause\, changes in sensation\, dysphoria and euphoria\, and ways to stay connected to pleasure\, consent\, and self-affirmation. This space is sex-positive\, kink-aware\, and rooted in liberation. \nPRESENTER: \nLasara Firefox Allen\, MSW (they/them)\, is The Genderqueer Menopause Coach\, founder of a trauma-informed\, gender-expansive menopause care practice serving trans\, nonbinary\, and genderqueer individuals. Not finding needed resources when they hit perimenopause\, Lasara began self-educating to advocate for their own care. That journey ignited their commitment to change the landscape of menopause care for queer and trans communities. \nLasara is a certified Menopause Doula through The Menopause School and a menopause coach with a thriving practice.
