DESCRIPTION:In-line columns are so called because they are built in the middle of the line after assembling a single column. This class builds on the content taught in Chain Bondage for Beginners demonstrating building in-line single columns and good practices using them. This presentation is great for self- and partnered-bondage participants and beginners! \nAs a virtual presentation\, the presenters are not able to give live feedback\, but viewers are still welcome to follow along with their own materials. If you wish to purchase your own starter kit ahead of time\, we recommend two 6-feet lengths of grade 30\, 1/4-inch proof coil zinc-plated chain and six 1/4-inch stainless steel screw-pin anchor shackles. \nPRESENTERS: \nCecilia T. Winters (‘CTW’ – She/Her) is your typical queer Millennial. Born at the start of the internet age\, she has always benefited from information at her fingertips. She identifies as bisexual and ethically non-monogamous. She has served as a dungeon and playspace monitor\, a demo top for a number of local and national kink events\, and as a presenter. Her non-kink interests include reading\, making lists\, watching early 2000s crime dramas\, and learning about ancient human cultures. \nFischer Garrett (‘Mister’ – He/Him) is a bisexual\, polyamorous top. His time spent in the lifestyle has led him through a journey of self discovery\, from once being totally monogamous to being a relationship anarchist; from wanting nothing to do with bondage to developing a way to practice bondage in a relatively unperformed and under-documented fashion. In the past several years he has volunteered for larger kink events as a member of a consent incident response team\, a dungeon/playspace monitor\, and recently as a presenter. DESCRIPTION:Who doesn’t love the look of a well-polished boot that catches the light and catches your eye? \nLeather pieces have the ability to outlast many of their original owners…with care. In this class\, we’ll teach you the basics of making your leathers look nice and last\, as well as cleaning and caring for your leathers. \nBootblacking can be a service to the community or dynamic\, a form of worship\, an art form\, a practice of technique\, a side hustle\, a spiritual practice\, or all of the above! \nLearn how to easily clean and care for your favorite boots\, whip\, or vest! We’ll also show you how to discern between oil tan and polished leather and how to treat them appropriately. \nAfter the class portion\, there will be a brief workshop where you will work on your leather with guidance from the instructor. It is BYOL (Bring Your Own Leather). Synthetic leathers are welcome! \nPRESENTER: \nLady V (she/her) is a spiritually & socioculturally driven sex-positive educator\, community organizer\, Bootblack & Professional Dominatrix. She formerly served as a resident bootblack for the Portland Eagle\, as well as 50 Shades of STFU & Jiffy Kink play parties. Lady V has also Bootblacked at various conferences\, flea markets\, cigar parties\, & play parties across the US. \nLady V became a believer in leather the first time she saw The Arnold’s ass in leather pants watching Terminator 2. Since then she has become an enthusiastic leather fetishist & has touched enough leather to make a dairy farmer blush.
